Core AI
AI Assistant: chat with Productive in natural language to search, create, update, and manage work across the platform
Agents: autonomous AI workers that run tasks on a schedule or in response to triggers, without you needing to be present
Skills: reusable instruction sets that guide how the AI Assistant or Agents respond in specific contexts
Connectors: connect the AI Assistant to external tools and services via MCP
MCP Server: connect external AI apps like Claude or ChatGPT directly to your Productive workspace
Projects, Deals, and Tasks
Project and pipeline summaries: generate instant status summaries of projects and deal pipelines from a dedicated button
Task summaries: summarize individual tasks and highlight open questions or blockers
Deal summaries: generate AI-written overviews of deals, including activity and next steps
Filters: describe what you want to filter in plain language instead of configuring conditions manually
Docs: generate, summarize, and expand content directly inside Productive Docs
Meetings
Notetaker: automatically record meetings, generate transcripts, and produce AI-written notes
Time Tracking
Calendar-to-time-entry conversion: automatically convert Google or Outlook calendar events into time entries from the Calendar view
AI time entry management: create, edit, duplicate, submit, and approve time entries using plain language
Finance
Expense auto-fill: automatically extract and fill in expense details from uploaded receipts
Service type generation: generates an initial set of service types based on your industry when you first sign up, giving you a relevant starting point out of the box
Reporting
Reports: describe the report you need in plain language and get a fully configured result
Productive AI is available on all subscription plans and is free to use.
Skills are available on the Professional and Ultimate plans. AI Agents, MCP Server, and Connectors are available on the Ultimate plan only.

Turning On/Off Productive AI Features
Admins control whether Productive AI is available for their organization. If the Productive AI features are not enabled:
Users within the organization will not have access to AI features.
The organization's data will not be used to power these features.
To activate Productive AI, go to Settings > Productive AI and toggle the Turn on AI.
Tracking Your AI Usage
You can see how many AI credits your organization has used this month on the Usage page:
Go to Settings > Usage.
Find the AI credits card. It shows the percentage of your monthly limit used.
Your Data and AI Training
Productive does not use your Customer Data or allow third-party providers to use it to train the machine learning models that power the Productive AI.
Your use of Productive AI does not grant Productive any rights or licenses to use your Customer Data to train machine learning models.
