Connect your Google or Outlook calendar to Productive and use AI to convert your calendar events into time entries β without manually re-entering them one by one.
The AI scans your events, determines the right budget/deal and service, and lets you confirm everything in one click.
Before You Start
Productive AI must be enabled by your account admin. Go to Settings > Productive AI and toggle Turn on AI.
How It Works
When you open the Calendar view in My Time, each day that has calendar events shows a purple Track time from calendar events button in the day header.
Clicking it opens the AI Assistant, which looks at your calendar events for that day and converts them into time entries.
For recurring events, the AI checks your past time entries to identify which service you've previously tracked that event against β and uses the same service automatically.
For events it can't match, the Assistant will ask you to specify the service before creating the entry.
π The AI is more likely to match the right service for events that repeat on a regular schedule. For one-off or new events it hasn't seen before, it will ask you to confirm the service in the chat.
Reviewing and Editing Converted Entries
Click any converted time entry to review or adjust the details: duration, note, service, or task assignment.
You can edit, duplicate, or delete entries the same way you would any other time entry in the Calendar view.
