To track your hours more efficiently in Productive, here are some tips that you can use when logging time under the "My Time" section.

These methods will help you become a more proficient time tracker.

Interval Format

The interval format allows you to log when you started and finished a specific activity.

1) In the Day view, click on "Set range" to add the interval.

2) In the Timesheet view, use any of these formats:

  • 9-5

  • 9 am-5 pm

  • 9-17

  • 9.5-17

  • 9 to 5

3) By picking a slot from the Calendar view, you will automatically see a range suggestion when adding your time entry:

Relative Interval Format

The relative interval format helps you log your start time, with the current moment automatically marked as the end time.

This format calculates the total time spent on the activity. Examples include:

  • 9-

  • 9 am-

  • 9.30-

  • 9.5-

  • 9 to

Text, Clock, and Decimal Formats

There are different formats available for logging time. Here’s how they work:

  • Text Format

    • 1h 30m

    • 30m

    • 1.5h

  • Clock Format

    • 2:00

    • 2:30

  • Decimal Format

    • 30 > 30 minutes

    • 1.5 > 1 hour 30 minutes
