Factorial Integration

Sync your absence data from Factorial to Productive, ensuring HR management is consistent and up-to-date across platforms.

With the Factorial integration in Productive, you can effortlessly sync time-off categories and periods from Factorial to ensure your HR management stays simple and up-to-date.

Integration Setup

To set up the Factorial integration, follow these steps:

1) Access the App Marketplace

  • Navigate to Settings > App Marketplace in Productive.

2) Connect Factorial

  • Find Factorial in the list of available apps and click on Connect App.

  • Note that you must be an admin in Factorial to set this up.

Sync Time Off from Factorial

Once integrated, the following details from Factorial will sync with Productive:

  • Time off periods (start and end dates)

  • Time off categories (called "Type of absence" in Factorial) are synced to Productive as absence categories and appear in Settings > Absence.
Each category is also added to the user's Absence tab as an unlimited absence allowance — day or hour counts from Factorial are not transferred.

  • Notes attached to time-off requests

  • Half-days off are supported. If a user books a half-day in Factorial, it will sync to Productive as a half-day time off.

  • Synced time-off bookings are marked as imported from external software in the Resource Planner.

Important to Note:

  • Only approved time off bookings are synced.

  • Categories and their allowances are not created immediately on setup. They appear in Productive the first time a time-off period in that category is synced.
