With the Factorial integration in Productive, you can effortlessly sync time-off categories and periods from Factorial to ensure your HR management stays simple and up-to-date.
Integration Setup
To set up the Factorial integration, follow these steps:
1) Access the App Marketplace
Navigate to Settings > App marketplace in Productive.
2) Connect Factorial
Find Factorial in the list of available apps and click on Connect app.
Note that you must be an admin in Factorial to set this up.
Sync Time Off from Factorial
Once integrated, the following details from Factorial will sync with Productive:
Time off periods (start and end dates)
Time off categories (e.g., vacation, sick leave)
Notes attached to time-off requests
Important to Note:
Only approved time off bookings are synced.
Factorial’s "Type of absence" translates to Productive's "Time off category."

Custom time-off types from Factorial will appear as "custom" time-off categories in Productive, which you can rename later.
Sync Frequency
Time-off data is synced between 1 hour and 12 hours after integration setup.
Deleted time-off events sync every 3 days automatically, so no need for manual deletion.
