Along with booking team members on various projects, you can also schedule their time off. Use this feature to add a vacation, sick leave, or any custom time off where a person will not be available for a certain period. You can also use this feature to make a sales reservation for them, which will prevent them from being booked elsewhere. 


Creating Time Off

💡When handling Time offs, first make sure that the Addon for Time off approvals is enabled.

Go to Settings > Time off to see the list of created Time off entitlements,

You can edit time off events and set them as paid or unpaid. This will affect your time reports and costs. See this article for more information about paid vs. unpaid time off.

Adding Time Off to Scheduling

💡 Make sure that the person for whom you want to add certain Time Off in Scheduling has this entitlement set up for them. To check how it is done, check this article.

To add Time Off, in Scheduling, you can simply click on + Add booking or by directly selecting a date directly from the timeline.

The pop-up window will appear in which you can just create a new booking for Time off selected from the list and enter the date range. Be sure to confirm the changes by clicking on Create booking.

After you have added the booking for the Time off, the allocated time which was previously set up will immediately reduce for this user accordingly.

💡 Please note, in case this Time off entitlement needs to be approved by someone, the previously allocated time will reduce accordingly after the Time off has been approved by the approver.
