Why Absence Logs Matter
Keeping track of your absence requests plays an important role in effective planning, ensuring that your time off and remote work is properly managed.
Hereβs how you can navigate and manage your absence logs in Productive.
Where to Find Your Absence Logs
Your absence history is split into Current & Upcoming Absence and Past Absence, depending on the booking date. These two sections appear in:
Your Absence tab (via your avatar in the upper-right corner)

Approval Process
Pending Approval: If your absence request requires approval, the request will be sent to approvers, and a "Pending" badge will appear next to the absence request. Once approved, it will be marked accordingly.
Automatic Approval: If no approvers are set up (approvals have been disabled), the absence request will be automatically approved and the status will be "Submitted".

Managing Attachments
If you added files when submitting a request, they appear in the Note column alongside any written notes.
You can edit pending requests to add or remove attachments as needed.

Cancelling Absence Requests
For upcoming or pending requests:
Open the three-dot menu next to the request.
Select "Cancel Request."
For past requests:
Open the three-dot menu and select "Show in Resourcing."
Delete the booking from there, or contact your admin for assistance if you do not have the necessary permissions to do so.
Viewing Absences in the Resource Planner
To check your time off alongside other scheduled work, open the three-dot menu next to a request and select Show in Resourcing.
