Every company is assigned a unique company code that is used for invoice numbering.

When a company is created, 4 starting letters of the company will be used to generate a company code.

If there is already an existing company with the same 4 starting letters, a number will be added at the end of the code to differentiate companies.

For example, when adding a company "Digital Experts" and if there's already a company called "Digitrue" with the code DIGI, the company code for Digital Experts will be DIGI1.

The company code can be changed at any time by editing the company:
