Change the Owner of Your Account

Transfer the ownership of your account to someone else.

The owner of the Productive account has access to billing information, can see past invoices for the subscription, can change billing details, and can deactivate the organization and, therefore, the account completely.

If the current owner is leaving the organization, changing roles, or shifting responsibilities, it's essential to transfer ownership to someone who will manage the account.

To transfer ownership to a teammate, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Settings > Owner.

  • From the dropdown menu, select the teammate you want to transfer ownership to. Note: Only admins will appear in this list.

  • Confirm your choice by selecting Transfer ownership.
