Buy More Notetaker Hours (Beta)

Learn how billing admins can add more Notetaker recording hours, and how the charge is billed.

Every Notetaker plan comes with a monthly recording-hour allowance, shared across your organization.

If your team is using up those hours, billing admins can add a package with more hours directly from Billing settings, no need to contact support.

Who Can Buy More Hours

Only users with billing permissions can access Billing settings and change your Notetaker package. Admins and the account owner have this by default.

šŸ“Œ If you don't have billing access, you'll see a banner asking you to contact your admin instead of the option to add hours yourself.

Available Notetaker Packages

Essential, Professional, and Ultimate plans each include 10 Notetaker hours per month per organization.

Adding a package gives you more hours on top of those 10, per month: 50, 100, 250, 500, or 1,000 hours.

How Billing Works for Notetaker Add-ons

Notetaker packages are sold as fixed monthly hour allowances.

  • No separate billing cycle. A Notetaker package is added to your existing subscription. It's billed on your regular billing date, not on its own schedule.

  • Mid-cycle purchases are prorated. If you add a package partway through your billing cycle, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of that cycle.

  • You get the full allowance right away. Even if you add a package mid-cycle, you receive the package's full monthly hour allowance for that month.

  • Annual plans work the same way, on an annual basis. You pay a prorated annual charge through your next renewal date, and receive the package's hours every month from activation onward.

  • Subscription discounts apply. If your subscription has a discount, it also applies to your Notetaker package.

šŸ“Œ For example, if your subscription renews in January and you add a package in September, you'd pay a prorated charge covering September through January, and start receiving the package's monthly hours right away.

Tracking Your Notetaker Usage

Once you've added hours, you can check your updated usage anytime from Settings > Usage.
