If your organization sends invoices from a Spanish subsidiary, you can configure your Productive account to send e-invoices via FACe (to government clients) or FACeB2B (to commercial clients).
This guide covers the initial setup, including required subsidiary information, client details, and payment settings.
👉 Once everything is in place, you'll be able to send invoices through FACe.
FACe e-invoicing is currently in Beta and is being rolled out gradually. If you're interested in testing it, reach out to us via in-app chat to have it enabled for your account.
Good to Know: Limitations by Plan
There is a monthly limit on the number of invoices you can send via FACe, based on your plan:
Essential Plan: 10 invoices
Professional Plan: 50 invoices
Ultimate Plan: 100 invoices
You'll see the transaction counter in Settings > Invoicing > E-Invoicing and when selecting Send to client > Send e-invoice.
Prerequisites
Subsidiary country: E-invoicing is configured per subsidiary.
Only subsidiaries based in Spain can send invoices via FACe. Check your subsidiary in Settings > Company Info > Subsidiary.
Bank Account Settings
FACe requires a bank account on the subsidiary.
Go to Settings > Company Info > Bank Accounts.
Fill in the details and select Save Account.
📌 Under Settings > Company Info, select a subsidiary and pick a default bank account for it. This will prefill the Pay to information on invoices any time you bill from the selected subsidiary.
E-Invoicing Settings
To enable FACe e-invoicing:
Go to Settings > Invoicing > E-Invoicing
Select the appropriate Subsidiary
Enter the following fields:
Tax ID: Your subsidiary's Spanish Tax ID.
Street, City, ZIP/Postcode, and State/County.
📌 Productive automatically sets the payment means to Credit Transfer when you enable FACe.
Click Finish Setup to save.
Client Company (Invoice Recipient) Settings
To configure your client's details for FACe invoicing:
Go to CRM > Companies.
Select the relevant client company and add the following:
Full Company Name
Tax ID: The client's Spanish Tax ID.
Address
📌 Recommended: Add the Subsidiary, Tax Rate, Payment Terms, and Invoice Template to the client profile to pre-fill this information when creating new invoices.
Under E-Invoicing Information, set the Client Type:
Commercial Client (FACeB2B): Add the DIRe Code (for example
RE0009999).Government Client (FACe): Add the DIR3 codes — Accounting Office, Management Body, and Processing Unit.
