The Payroll Report provides a comprehensive overview of your team's salaries, including cost rates, cost rate types (hourly, monthly), and the start and end dates for those cost rates.

Steps to Create a Payroll Report

1) Create a New Report

  • Go to Reports and choose to create a new report "From scratch."

  • Select the Payroll data source. Note that only Admins can access this option since it involves viewing sensitive salary information.

2) Customize the Report

  • Just like any other report in Productive, you can customize the Payroll Report by applying filters, adding fields, grouping data, and visualizing it with charts. This flexibility allows you to tailor the report to meet your specific needs.

3) Date Selection

  • The date picker for this report allows you to quickly select a specific month, making it easy to view the salary data for any given period.

4) Automate with Pulse

  • Convert your report into an automatic report using the Pulse feature. This way, the report can be sent to your inbox periodically, keeping you updated without manual effort. Learn more about Pulse here.

5) Export the Report

  • If you need to share or archive the report, you can easily export it by clicking the ⬇️ icon in the top right-hand corner.
