đ Before customizing a style, make sure you've created one first. See Setting Up Document Styles.
The Document Style Editor lets you fine-tune the design of your PDF documents. Hover over any section in the editor to preview which part of your document it affects. Use the right-hand preview panel to see changes across invoices, deal and budget proposals, budget statuses, and purchase orders.
đ Use the horizontal scrollbar in the preview panel to check how your style applies across all document types.

Best Practices for Document Styles
Create brand-consistent documents: Upload your company's fonts and use consistent colors across all document types.
Highlight key information: Use bold headers or colored backgrounds on totals or deal highlights to draw attention.
Simplify and organize tables: Use alternating row colors and adjust border styles for readability.
Adapt styles for specific use cases: Create separate styles for different needs (e.g., minimalist for invoices, detailed for proposals), or duplicate the default style for seasonal campaigns.
Preview frequently: Use the right-hand preview to confirm changes apply correctly across all document types.
Applying Your Document Style
đ Once your style is ready, see Applying and Managing Document Styles so the style you defined here can be applied to a document template of your choice and exported/sent as set up.
