Updated over a week ago

Doc Sidebar

The doc sidebar includes text editing options such as page width and text size, as well as history tracking features such as versioning, which allow you to manage revisions and further customize your docs and pages.

Editor Commands

For better document organization, access formatting functions such as checklists, headings, lists, tables, banners, and more, type "/" in the text area or select the + sign that appears in the left-hand side of your page.

You will notice you can upload files and images to your doc as well, just keep in mind the size restrictions: 100MB for files, and 4MB for images.

Pro tip: Select a piece of text to reveal the text editing toolbar, which includes the ability to convert the selection into a task in Productive!

Comments

  • Select a piece of text to leave a comment or mention your teammates (@theirname). They will receive a notification about it, allowing them to join the discussion.

  • Subscribe or unsubscribe to a comment to manage your notifications, and then resolve it once the discussion is over.

  • Track any ongoing or resolved comment discussions by page through the comment button in the upper right.

Productive AI in Docs

AI features have been added to Productive's Docs to improve document understanding and help with translating, summarizing, and creating action items from your selection.
