Collaboration is key in Productive, and sharing docs is straightforward. Let's see what you can do!
β
By default, standalone (project-less) docs are visible solely to their creators, while docs within projects are visible to project members, the project manager and the doc creator.
Removing the "Project members" group from the doc-sharing options gives you more control over its visibility, which is useful if you need to limit doc access only to specific individuals!
β
1. Inviting Collaborators via Sharing Options
Use the sharing options icon to invite collaborators to view, comment, or edit docs. You can add individual users or whole Teams.
2. Granting Different Levels of Access
Users can have varying access levels such as view-only, commenting, editing, or full access to manage docs.
Tip: When there are more people working on a document at the same time, it will show in the upper-right corner π―ββοΈ
3. Exporting and Link Sharing
Export a page as a PDF or share a link to the specific page you want to share with the team (note that you can export single pages rather than entire docs).
To access links π, users must have a Productive account and the necessary doc permissions.
