Productive Notetaker joins your video meetings as a bot, records them, and generates a transcript and AI-written meeting notes after the call ends.
You don't need to record meetings manually or take notes during a call. Everything is saved inside Productive and can be linked to a project or deal.
Productive Notetaker is currently available for free on all subscription plans.
Before You Start
Notetaker requires Productive AI to be enabled for your organization. Admins can turn this on in Settings > Productive AI.
Supported Platforms
Productive Notetaker works with the following video conferencing platforms:
Zoom
Google Meet
Microsoft Teams
The platform is detected automatically from the meeting URL.
What You Get After a Meeting
Once processing is complete, each meeting contains:
Video recording: the full meeting recording, playable directly in Productive
Transcript: a timestamped transcript with speaker names, searchable by keyword
Action Points: AI-generated follow-up items identified from the conversation
Meeting notes: an AI-generated summary of the meeting, including key takeaways and action items
π Meeting notes are generated in the language the meeting was conducted in. Meetings in English tend to produce the most accurate results.
Finding Your Meetings
Open Project Management and select Meetings. Meetings are organized into two tabs:
Upcoming: meetings from your connected Google or Outlook calendar
Recorded: meetings you've attended that were recorded with Productive Notetaker

Permissions and Access
Access to Meetings is controlled by two permissions:
View, edit, and delete meetings the user can access: lets you access the Meetings section and interact with meetings shared with you
Invite notetaker to meetings: lets you invite the Notetaker to calls
π Admins, Managers, and Profitability Managers have both permissions by default. Restricted Managers, Restricted Profitability Managers, and all other permission sets have the View, edit, and delete meetings permission only.
π You can also configure access through custom permission sets.
When a meeting is shared with you, your access level is set separately:
Can view: you can view the recording, transcript, and notes, but cannot make changes
Full access: you can edit the meeting title, Action Points, and Meeting Notes
