Why Submit Time Entries?
Submitting your time entries confirms that your logged hours are ready for review.
After submission, your entries can be approved by a manager. If you forget to submit, you may receive a reminder email from the system.
How to Submit Your Time Entries
You can submit your time entries for approval once your workday or workweek is complete.
Submitting from My Time
Go to My Time.
Select the week you want to submit using the Day, Timesheet, or Calendar view.
Review your time entries and make any necessary changes and select Submit Timesheet.
Uncheck boxes for any days you want to submit later. Click Submit.
You'll notice that:
Working days (as set by your admin) have a white background.
Non-working days have a gray-striped background. You can still log and submit time for these days if needed—for example, for overtime or schedule adjustments.
📌 Note: For the managers approving time entries, a timesheet is marked as Fully Submitted only when the employee submits entries for all days in the week—including weekends and non-working days—even if they weren’t scheduled to work on those days.
After submission, submitted days will be marked yellow.
📌 Once a day is submitted, you can no longer add new time entries to it. All buttons, inputs, and fields for that day will be disabled.
Editing Submitted Time Entries
You can un-submit a timesheet for a specific day or the entire week if the entries haven't been approved yet. To un-submit:
📌 Un-submitting allows you to make changes unless the time entry has already been approved.
📌 If you need to adjust an already approved and submitted time entry, your manager will need to un-approve and un-submit it first.
📌 If a time period is locked, you won't be able to submit or edit entries until it’s unlocked.
Tracking Your Submission Status
After submission, your time entries will show one of the following statuses:
⚪️ Submitted: Your entries are waiting for approval.
🟢 Approved: Your entries have been approved.
↪️ Rejected: A manager has requested changes.
Editing Rejected Entries
To edit a rejected timesheet:
1) Go to My Time.
2) Find the rejected entry.
📌 Tip: Use the yellow banner at the top to quickly access all rejected entries by clicking Show time entries.
3) Make the necessary edits. Your changes will be automatically resubmitted—no need to click Submit Timesheet again.
What Happens If You Forget to Submit?
If you miss the submission deadline, you may receive an email reminder prompting you to submit your time entries, depending on how your admin set things up.
Managers can also submit or un-submit timesheets on your behalf if needed.
