Updated over a week ago

Use Productive's AI-driven filters to manage your tasks more effectively. Track overdue items, organize data, and customize views.

Follow this guide to activate and use AI filters in your task management!

Enabling AI Filters for Tasks

Before you can take advantage of AI filters, they need to be activated. As an admin, you can turn on the AI features by navigating to your organization’s settings.

Once activated, AI filters will be available to users within the organization, enabling them to leverage advanced filtering options for tasks.

How to Use AI Filters

To get started with AI filters, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Tasks
Go to Project Management > Tasks or access a specific project and navigate to the Tasks tab.

  2. Open Filters
Within the Tasks section, click on the Filters option.

  3. Access AI Filters

You will find a new section for AI filters below the traditional filtering options.

Utilizing AI Filters

With AI filters enabled, you can enter queries to refine your task views. Here’s how to make the most of this feature:

  • Enter a Query
In the AI filter input box, type any query related to your tasks. For example, you might enter "Manny's overdue tasks" to quickly view tasks assigned to Manny that are past their deadlines.

  • Use Recommended Filters

Experiment with pre-defined prompts to test various filtering scenarios. These prompts can help you understand how AI can tailor your task views according to your needs.

Key Considerations

While AI filters can significantly streamline task management, it’s important to remember:

  • Verification

Always verify the results of AI filters independently before making critical decisions. AI outputs are provided "as-is" and should be used as one of several tools in your decision-making process.

  • Data Privacy

Productive AI does not use your customer data to train machine learning models, ensuring that your data remains secure and confidential.
