Managing Repeating Bookings

Set a booking to repeat automatically so you don't have to recreate it manually each time.

Repeating bookings are useful when someone is scheduled on the same service on a regular basis — for example, a developer allocated to ongoing maintenance every week.

Instead of creating individual bookings manually, you can set a booking to repeat at a defined frequency for a set number of occurrences.

Creating a Repeating Booking

1) Access the Resource Planner

2) Select a booking, click the three-dot menu, and select Repeat

3) Configure the repeat settings

  • Frequency — weekly or monthly

  • Number of occurrences — how many times the booking should repeat

4) Save

Once you've configured the repeating settings, click Create bookings to save the changes and for the new bookings to appear in your Resource Planner.

Editing Repeating Bookings

When you edit a repeating booking, you'll be prompted to choose whether the changes should apply to:

  • Just this one: only the selected occurrence is updated

  • All future bookings: the selected occurrence and all following ones are updated

Deleting Repeating Bookings

When deleting a repeating booking, you'll be prompted to choose:

  • Only this booking

  • This and all future bookings

  • All bookings in the series (past, present, and future)
