Sync your approved absences from Productive to your Slack status. Once it's set up, your status updates automatically whenever you're away, so teammates know without having to ask.
Important: Before you can sync, make sure both of these are set:
An admin has turned on Status Sync for the absence categories you want. See Set Up Absence Status Sync for more information.
You've connected Slack integration to Productive. See Personal Integration for Slack.
Enable Status Sync in Your Personal Integration Settings
Once the admin has enabled the Status Sync for specific categories, each user can decide whether and how to sync their status.
Go to Settings > App Marketplace.
Select Personal Slack Integration and click Edit.
Enable Status Sync, choose which absence categories to sync, and click Save.
Your approved absence will now automatically translate to your Slack status.
