Understanding Automation Usage
In Productive, automation usage is measured by the number of actions performed each month.
Whenever an automation is triggered, either manually, on a schedule, or by an event, it performs a run. During that run, it can carry out one or more actions, depending on how the rule is set up.
For example, if a rule finds 50 tasks and updates them all, that's one run but 50 actions.
📌 To recap, your monthly quota is based on the number of actions, not the number of runs.
Where to Track Your Usage
To check how many automation actions your organization has used this month:
Go to Settings > Automations
In the upper-right corner, you’ll see Monthly automation actions used
This counter resets monthly and depends on your subscription plan:
Essential: 100 automation actions/month
Professional: 1,000 automation actions/month
Ultimate: 5,000 automation actions/month
