At Productive, we take your security seriously. If you receive an email that seems suspicious, this guide will help you determine whether it’s genuinely from us.

We will never request sensitive personal information via email, including:

  • Payment details

  • Your password

  • File downloads from email attachments

Emails We Send About Account Activity

To keep your account secure and up to date, we send emails about:

  • Security Alerts: New logins, password resets, 2FA changes

  • Billing & Subscription: Payment failures, invoices, trial updates, upcoming subscription renewals, credit card expiration

  • Invitations & Memberships: Organization invites, project/task shares

  • Approvals & Reminders: Service bookings, unapproved time, budget warnings

  • Integrations & Webhooks: Errors or changes affecting connected tools

Some notifications can be managed in Settings > Notifications, while others, like security alerts, are always sent for account protection.

If you see activity you don’t recognize, contact Productive support.
