The Overtime by person report shows, for each person, how their worked hours compare to their availability, and how many of those hours were marked as overtime.
đ This report combines two different things: Over capacity, calculated automatically by comparing Worked to Available hours, and Overtime, which only reflects entries someone has manually marked as overtime. The two numbers won't always match â someone can be over capacity without any of those hours being marked as overtime, or vice versa.
đ Overtime not set up yet? See Setting Up Overtime Tracking.
đ To learn how people mark entries as overtime, see Tracking Overtime.
Creating the Report
Overtime by person is a prebuilt report available directly from the Reports Library, so you don't need to build it from a data source.
Go to Reports.
Click + Report.
Type "overtime" and select the report.
The report shows, per person:
Available: total availability for the selected period.
Worked: total hours logged.
Overtime: of the worked hours, how many were marked as overtime.
Over capacity: the difference between Worked and Available.
Worked / Available: worked hours as a percentage of availability.
Comparing the columns shows you whether hours worked over capacity were also flagged as overtime, or just logged as regular time.
Checking One Person's Overtime
For a single person, you don't need a report. Check their Capacity, Available, Scheduled, Worked, and Overtime hours directly on their profile's Time tab.
